A picture representing what I visualize myself doing/being when I need to feel strong and/or able. The roar is not one of anger, necessarily… it’s just one of empowerment. ^u^ I’m done letting fear hold me back and I drew this to reinforce that in my mind.
The dragon is called Sekoiya, and is sort of my totem/spiritual self, and has gone through some incredible changes in appearance as of late. xD

Yesterday I threw this one out in what started as drawing to try and stop myself feeling bad (distraction), and became practice drawing Masky’s face from the side. Her face from the freaking side. It’s just… xD It’s always been challenging to draw somehow, let’s say that. Probably her near-noselessness throws me. I dunno. Her eye, too… although I think I discovered something with that one this time. Something seems just a LITTLE off to me in this doodle, but it’s getting there, at least. 😛
I’m not sure what Masky is doing in this doodle. It looks like she’s talking to someone… probably quite bluntly/derisively. 😀 (And yeah, I did her in all blue again. Why not? xD)

Today is the eight-year anniversary of the day (or rather, night/early morning xD) that I met the most AMAZING LADY EVER and my life was changed, INFINITELY for the better. On this day, eight years ago, I woke up from the most awesome and inspiring dream in my living memory. This dream was the sole source of Dreaming Esmeralda and everything in it, and not only that, the character that came to me in that dream and triggered this inspiration caused me to grow as a person. I don’t want to IMAGINE where I’d be if I had never met her! <3
(I also call this her ‘birthday’… that’s why the hat. 😛 But she clearly does NOT. Wear birthday hats. xD )

Guess I’m starting off this year with a fan-art. 😛 I’ve been a fan of ‘The Legend of Zelda’ videogames for a veryVERY long time, and I even have my own idea for a Zelda game (which I will probably never get to make/see made, but it’s still fun to imagine it and draw stuff about it). It’s called ‘Hylian Dragons’ and you can read about it at more length here. (Though, I did write that PDF three years ago; it might not be entirely how I’d describe it now, but whatever.) Anyway, this my idea’s version of Link… in ONE of the two forms in which he appears. 😉
